GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for eastern North Dakota Thursday into Friday, October 11th. A winter mix of rain and snow will hit the region Wednesday with conditions deteriorating by Thursday, October 10th.
Grand Forks National Weather Service forecaster Daniel Robinson said the heaviest snow is expected to fall from Valley City to Devils Lake.
Livestock producers should take the necessary steps to protect your animals from this storm. If you are traveling bring a winter survival kit, stay inside your vehicle if you get stranded. Your chances for survival increase dramatically if you stay in your vehicle.
