Thompson, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)  It was a night of first’s for the Lisbon Broncos Friday in their game with the Thompson Tommies.  The biggest story of the night may have been Lisbon winning in Thompson by a score of 30 to 14.  Why is that noteworthy?  Thompson had not lost a game at home in the last 5 years.  The other story was the Lisbon Broncos put up 30 points without getting one TD from their back field of Hunter Schultz and Jordan Sours.

Last night the 6-0 Broncos had a new scoring hero.  Senior WR/RB Dawson Parrow scored 4 TD’s.  It certainly helped Parrow that the Tommies were dedicating most of their defense to stopping Hunter Schultz and Jordan Sours and the Broncos made them pay for their over pursuit.  Here is a list of Dawson’s 4 scores:

Parrow scores on a 43 yard TD run with 11:09 remaining in the 2nd quarter.

Parrow scores on a 62 yard pass reception with 7:38 remaining in the 3rd quarter.

Parrow scores on a 35 yard TD run with 5:07 remaining in the 4th quarter.

Parrow scores on a 70 yard TD run with 1:10 remaining in the 4th quarter.

With the win the Broncos now hold the #1 seed in Region 1A with 2 games left to play.  Next up the Broncos are back at home on Friday night @ 7pm to play the Hatton/Northwood Thunder (4-3)
