JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning of a new high risk registered sex offender that is now residing within the city of Jamestown.

Dustin Joel Dean, 38, is a white male standing at 6’02” and weighing around 285 pounds. He has green eyes, brown hair, and currently resides at 2605 Circle Drive in a Transition Home.

Dean was charged with Gross Sexual Imposition in 2008 when he masturbated a 14 year-old boy with cerebral palsy in Morton County. He was also charged with Gross Sexual Imposition in 2009 when he molested the same 14 year-old boy at a camp in LaMoure.

Dean is not currently wanted at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety only and should not increase fear in the community. Any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten an offender will be turned over for prosecution.
