JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota’s newest medical marijuana dispensary opened its doors in Jamestown Tuesday morning.
Located at 1513 Business Loop in Jamestown, ND. Grassroots Cannabis is one of the largest multi-state cannabis companies in the nation and opened their Herbology dispensary for business.
“We are thrilled to grow our footprint in North Dakota, sharing our unparalleled expertise in medical cannabis to further provide patients with access to safe and effective cannabis products,” says Matt Darin, COO. “Our Herbology team is committed to enhancing the communities we serve in North Dakota and across the country.”
The 5,000 square foot space includes one waiting room, consultation room and six point of sale stations. Hours of operation will be Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM.
“At Herbology we are committed to educating our patients about the benefits of cannabis and creating an in-dispensary experience that feels personal to people from all walks of life,” says Talley Wettlaufer, Vice President and Head of Retail.
According to the North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH), so far, over 1,200 registry identification cards have been issued to qualifying patients.
“Having seven dispensaries open by the end of this month increases the accessibility to products for registered qualifying patients,” stated Jason Wahl, director of the Division of Medical Marijuana. “We estimate over 85% of the state’s population will be within 50 miles of one of the seven open dispensaries.”
Members of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and the Young Professionals of Jamestown held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Herbology to celebrate their new location in Jamestown.
