GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City volleyball team got back track with a straight set win over Grand Forks Central. The Hi-Liners won 25-19,25-10 and 25-13.
Macy Olstad paced the offense with 13 kills. Cali Halgrimson,Lindsey Noeske and Peyton Pederson had five each. Dylann Diegel and Natalie Lemnus combined for 23 set assists. Natalie had 13 and Dylann added 10. They each had a double-double with 11 digs for Natalie and 13 for Dylann. Olstad also had a double-double with 15 digs to go with the 13 kills. Jossy Kriewald paced the defense with 18 digs and Pederson had four blocks.
Valley City is now 9-5 overall and 5-2 in the EDC. They are in a three-way tie with West Fargo Sheyenne and Grand Forks Red River for second. They travel to Fargo North on Thursday.
