CARRINGTON, N.D. (submitted by Kyle Hewitt, newsdakota.com) Hannah Hagel and Bella Hone had 12 kills each to lead Carrington over New Rockford-Sheyenne (NRS) 3-0 (25-11, 25-14, 25-10). Addison Hoornaert had 30 assists and broke Carrington High school assist record of 1,906 career assists previously held by Carrington assistant coach Brooke (Rosenau) Page. Hannah Haley and Chloe Heinz had 4 kills each to pace NRS offensively. Lexi Page was 21-21 serving for Carrington with 3 aces. The Cardinals improved to 6-0 and NRS dropped to 3-5 overall.

Next up for Carrington will be the Valley City Optimist Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Carrington will play Edgeley at 8am, May/Port/CG at 935am and Garrison at 11am in Pool F play at REC #2. KDAK will have coverage for the Cardinals starting after 1pm in the tournament round.
