VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City commission approved of a construction engineering agreement with KLJ for phase III of the permanent flood protection project in an amount not to exceed $182,500. The vote was three to one with commissioner Jeff Erickson voting against the motion. Commissioner Mike Bishop was not at the meeting on Tuesday, September 17th.
And the Valley City Commission also approved of purchasing Christmas decorations for the new street lights on Central and Main for $14,000. The vote was three to one with commissioner Jeff Erickson voting against the motion. He told commissioners he thought the cost of the decorations was a bit excessive.
