GRAFTON, N.D. (Newsdakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Liners Cross Country team was in Grafton for a meet Thursday and the girls took home their second meet win of the season while the boys took second.
For the girls, Greta Goven and Reagan Berg were third and fourth respectively. Avery Murray was sixth and Stephanie Hoffarth finished was ninth. The team was first with 33 points followed by Grafton with 70.
On the boys side, the Hi-Liners finished second to Thompson by just six points. Adam Punton was the top Hi-Liner harrier with a third place finish. Hale Berntson was eighth. Berntson and Corben Golovanoff both has personal records. Berntson at 19:27 and Golovanoff at 19:36
