JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Experienced and new actors and actresses are encouraged to come out and audition for two seperate one-acts through the 2nd Act Community Theatre group.
Bill Nybo, director for the November dinner theatre, says he has picked two seperate one-acts and will need several to audition. He says those interested need not worry about line memorization, because each show has a limited amount, making it easier for everyone.
Nybo says auditions will be Wednesday, September 4th from 6 PM to 8 PM and Saturday, September 7th from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Hansen Arts Center. He says the dinner theatre will feature two seperate one-acts as opposed to one full show in November.
Nybo says the two plays will be “Conflict” and “Sweeney Todd”. Nybo says he’s also looking for anyone interested in doing lighting and sound for the productions.
Nybo says the auditions will be very laid back and practice times will be determined.
If you have questions, you can contact the Arts Center at 701-251-2496 or Bill Nybo at 701-659-1578.
