JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Anne Carlsen Center is hosting numerous different events to raise awareness on the different things they do and provide for the community.

The first event is being co-hosted by the Jamestown Arts Center and features an adaptive art making tool for children with disabilities to create amazing art pieces.

Anne Carlsen Center Development Director Kelsey Daragisch says the event will be held at the final Downtown Arts Market Thursday, August 29th.

The Zot Artz for All began in 1990 on a grant funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Rockefeller Foundation.

The tools have created hundreds of special art events around the world, and helped schools, museums, residential and day centers, independent living centers, park and rec programs and others put the art tools to work in their programs.

In September, the Anne Carlsen Center will be holding a Back to School Family Fun Night on the 5th.

Daragisch says the night will feature numerous things for all families and kids of all ages to enjoy.

The event is sponsored in part by i3G Media and runs from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
