VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – City-County Health District encourages parents to start thinking about immunization requirements for this upcoming 2019-2020 school year.
The State of North Dakota requires students entering kindergarten, 7th grade, and 11th grade (age 16+) to have their required immunizations prior to the first day of school.
All new students, entering school in Barnes County, must provide an up-to-date immunization record. According to the school immunization requirements, all children must be up to date or have claimed exemption by Oct. 1 or they can be excluded from school.
City-County Health District or your healthcare provider can check your child’s North Dakota electronic immunization record to make sure he/she is up to date on all recommended immunizations for their age range.
City-County Health District can be reached at 701-845-8518 to schedule an appointment. Parents are encouraged to schedule an appointment soon.
