VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Barnes County Jail Committee will meet Wednesday, July 31st in the commission chambers to listen to a presentation from two separate architects that will ideas on building a new jail.

The first presentation will be at 5:30pm and the second firm will give their presentation at 6:30pm on Wednesday, July 31st in the commission chambers.

In June of 2019, the Barnes County Commission advertised for statements of qualification from architectural firms to plan, design and construct a jail and joint law enforcement center in Valley City.
