JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An event that started 10 years ago continues to benefit the Jamestown Fire Department in multiple ways.

The Fire Department’s 10th Annual Pancake Breakfast is set for Saturday, July 27th from 7 AM to Noon and has been held during Buffalo Days in the past. Fire Chief Jim Reuther says they started the event not to raise money, but more for the public interaction.

Reuther says while the event isn’t primarily a fundraiser, they do use the money they raise to upgrade equipment and essentially put it right back into the community.

Reuther says individuals can purchase their tickets ahead of time at $7 a piece or $20 for a family. He says the breakfast is all you can eat and includes pancakes, sausage, potatoes, coffee, and juice.

Chief Reuther says this will also be a great opportunity for someone who might be interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter to learn more by talking to him or any other firefighter.

The pancake feed will be held at the Jamestown Fire Department Fire Hall.
