VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Planning is underway for the new $32 million Valley City State University Communication and Fine Arts Building approved by lawmakers during the 2019 Legislative Session.

VCSU President Dr. Alan LaFave said an architectural team and VCSU staff members are working on the layout of the future building. He said the university will make an announcement later about the ground breaking ceremony and the name of the new facility.

Once the new structure is completed, Foss Music Hall will be razed being it’s on the wrong side of the Valley City permanent flood protection project.
