JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Fargo man is facing charges of assaulting two Jamestown Police officers on June 8th.
Christopher Houston Perman, 28, was arrested shortly after 9 AM in Northeast Jamestown. Police were dispatched to the 900 block of 4th Avenue Northeast to a male looking in windows. Officers made contact and during questioning, Perman showed signs of aggression.
When officers attempted to determine if he had a weapon, Perman bit one officer and injured the other. Injuries were not life threatening. Perman was transported to a medical facility and transferred to the Stutsman County Correctional Center Tuesday where he awaits charges.
The Jamestown Police were assisted by the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office. An investigation of possible thefts in the area is ongoing.
