LISBON, N.D. (Ransom County Sheriff News Release) – On Monday June 10 at approximately 10:52AM, the Ransom County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a motor vehicle that went into Dead Colt Creek at the boat ramp.

According to a post on the Ransom County Sheriffs Department Facebook page.  A pickup truck with a male occupant were recovered. The accident is currently under investigation and foul play is not expected. Identity will not be released until family has been notified. The Ransom County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by NDHP, Sargent County S.O., Valley Dive Rescue, Wahpeton Dive Rescue, Lisbon PD, Lisbon Fire, First Medic Ambulance of Ransom County, and Ransom County Coroner’s Office.
