ELLENDALE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- An Oakes man has pleaded guilty to a Class C Felony charge of luring a minor by computer or electronic device during a change of plea hearing on May 22nd.

According to a criminal complaint, 33 year-old Ryan Lee Marthaller sent messages to a 13 year-old girl in June of 2018 asking for nude photos and then sent sexually explicit messages while asking for nude photos.

Southeast District Court Judge Daniel Narum said a sentence hearing for Marthaller will be August 27th at 10:30am in the Dickey County Courthouse in Ellendale, ND.

Marthaller is facing a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison and a fine of $10,000 or both.
