JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Downtown Association (JDA) is encouraging anything with a motor to be at the 5th Annual Rods & Hogs & Things That Go VROOM event Saturday, June 8th.

Lynn Lambrecht, JDA President, says with multiple car and motorcycle groups in Jamestown, it’s unofficially referred to as the Motorsports Hub of North Dakota.

Lambrecht says what makes this event different from other shows is it’s not just limited to classic cars.

Anyone who wishes to join the show can do so for free, but Lambrecht says those wanting to compete for their cash prizes will need to pay $15 and register.

New this year will be outhouse races along with music in the park, a streetdance, and food from 1 to Midnight along main street in Jamestown.
