JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 66 year-old man is dead following a rollover in Stutsman County on I-94 Wednesday, May 29th 11 miles east of Jamestown near mm 271.

The Highway Patrol said State Radio received a call of a reckless driver in a Toyota Tacoma pickup traveling west on I-94 around 7:20pm Wednesday night.

As several Law Enforcement units were responding, the vehicle left the roadway and entered the median before veering back onto the westbound lanes of travel. The pickup spun out of control and rolled several times coming to rest on its wheels blocking the right lane of I-94. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

The Highway Patrol said alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash. The right westbound lane of I-94 was closed for about 2 hours while the crash was under investigation.
