FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The East region girls tennis tournament continues today indoors at Courts Plus in Fargo. the Valley City Hi-Liners, the eighth seed, will take on top seed West Fargo Sheyenne at 10am today.

The Hi-Liners advanced with a 4-1 win over Wahpeton on Tuesday in the EDC Play-In Match. Now they face the top seeded Mustangs who will have the number 1, 3 and five players in the state in their lineup.

Hi-Liner coach Matt Nielson says his lineup will be different and they are looking at the big picture head in to today’s match with the Mustangs

 

With the individual portion of the tournament starting Friday, Coach Nielson says there is going to be a lot of tennis played over the next three days.

The Mustangs defeated the Hi-Liners 9-0 very early in the season in Valley City.
