JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Support for the Running of the Pink continues to grow as is evident by the continued participation in the annual event.

The 12th Annual Running of the Pink has been set for June 1st. RM Stoudt’s has been the host each year and organizer Tara Kapp says they continue to be blown away by the support they continue to receive.

Kapp says all money raised in the event helps the “No Excuses” program.

100% of all money raised through registration, raffles, and donations go to the program.

The event sees RM Stoudt team up with the Jamestown Regional Medical Center, Central Valley Health and Women’s Way to remove barriers when it comes to getting screened.

Kapp says the route is different this year with runners starting at RM Stoudt and running out to the JRMC and then back for the 5K. The 10K will go further out before looping back to the starting point.

The event in 2018 saw 710 total registered participants. Kapp says all fitness levels are more than welcome to join and those who can’t participate are encouraged to make a donation.

The 12th Annual Running of the Pink is scheduled for Saturday, June 1st in Jamestown. The event is pet friendly, has numerous prizes, and is open to anyone.

Cost for adults is $20, Youth 12 & Under is $15 and Seniors 60 & Over is $15. Prices go up $5 after May 18th.
