FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fargo Davies scored four runs in the first and second innings to jump out to an 8-0 lead on the way to an 11-0 win over Valley City in Easteran Dakota Conference baseball Friday night at Davies.

Cole Hage’s two-run double in the first and two run single in the second highlighted the big innings. Hagefinished with three hits and four rbi. Sam Moser also had three hits for the Eagles.

James Strand allowed two hits in four innings. He struck out eight and did not walk a batter.

Connor May had both hits for the Hi-Liners.

The Hi-Liners fall to 1-5 in the EDC and 2-9 overall. They travel to West Fargo Sheyenne Monday for an EDC matchup. Davies improves to 5-1 in the conference and 7-4 overall.
