JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) is encouraging residents to keep their own health in mind amidst the spring cleaning.

Each year, the JRMC offers free hearing, memory, and speech screenings. Speech Pathologist Lauren Burningham says these screenings are available to all ages and are very important.

Burningham says May is Better Hearing and Speech Month and these screenings are a chance for her and Audiologist Marissa Leese to give back to the community.

Leese stated that anyone should reach out to the hospital and schedule themselves for these screenings.

Leese says these screenings are held to decrease the gap between needing care and receiving the care needed.

Screenings are scheduled for 30 minutes. If further diagnostics and a full evaluation is needed, it can be completed at JRMC Rehab.

You must schedule a time to come in for the screening, which will be held:
* Tuesday, May 14th, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

* Wednesday, May 15th, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

* Thursday, May 16th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To schedule your Spring Clean, Free Screen, call JRMC Rehab at (701) 952-4800. Learn more at www.jrmcnd.com.
