JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Letter carriers across the nation will be picking up non-perishable food items this Saturday.
The National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is encouraging everyone to set out donations of food for participating post offices. JoAnne Ray is a letter carrier in Jamestown.
Ray says Jamestown had a lot of success in the amount of food collected in 2018.
Ray says those willing and wanting to make food donations are encouraged to have the non-perishable items set out by their mailboxes before letter carriers arrive.
You’re encouraged to contact your local post office and ask if they’re participating in the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
