CITY (NewsDakota.com) The “Wings & Wheels Air show” is coming to the Barnes County Airport northwest of Valley City Saturday, September 8.
One aerobatic act is with pilot Matt Younkin and his “Beech 18” aircraft performing maneuvers never thought possible with a transport plane.
Other pilots to perform include; Jim “FANG” Maroney in his Dehavilland Super Chipmunk, Rex Hammarback with his T-28 war bird military trainer, Warren Pietsch and Toby McPherson in his P-51 Mustang.
Bridge City Cruisers “Show & Shine starts at noon and the airshow begins at 3pm Saturday, September 8.
An evening outdoor pit BBQ dinner, children’s play area, dance to “Past Due” and a fireworks display. A Sunday worship service and pancake breakfast on September 9.
