VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Teacher of the Year Selection Committee and Valley City Public School Board announced that Rhonda Nudell was selected as the 2019 Valley City Public Schools Teacher of the Year.
The announcement came as a surprise to 5th Grade Teacher during a special ceremony at Washington Elementary with students, colleagues, and family members.
Nudell will officially receive her award on Wednesday, May 8th at the Celebration of Achievement and Excellence Program in the Hi-Liner Activity Center.
Superintendent Josh Johnson said Nudell becomes the 40th recipient of one of the most coveted awards for Valley City Public Schools. The announcement was held May 6th during a milestone birthday for Nudell, that number will remain undisclosed publicly for the time being.
