TAPPEN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The woman killed in a rollover Wednesday near Tappen has been identified.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that 38 year-old Elizabeth Monger of Strasburg was traveling eastbound on I-94 just before 8 AM when her vehicle left the roadway and entered the median. She steered back onto the road and rolled her vehicle.
Monger was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead on the scene. She was not wearing her seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The Steele Police Department, Kidder County Sheriff’s Office, Kidder County Ambulance, Steele Fire Department, and Sanford Airmed assisted.
