DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Three people were injured after their vehicle left the roadway and vaulted over an approach near Devils Lake Wednesday afternoon.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that 21 year-old Patricia Platz was traveling south on Highway 20 at around 3 PM when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch.

Platz braked and steered right as a vehicle ahead slowed. The vehicle vaulted over an approached and came to rest. Platz, 40 year-old passenger Jose Garza, Jr, and 23 year-old Larissa Crist all sustained non-life threatening injuries. They were not wearing their seatbelts.

3 year-old Aydren Crist was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
