VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – No serious injuries reported in three separate single vehicle crashes on I-94 over the weekend in Barnes County.

Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said the first one was reported on Friday, April 12th when a vehicle lost control and went into Hobart lake five miles west of Valley City. The vehicle did not submerge and the driver was not injured.

On Saturday, April 13th a vehicle lost control on I-94 west of Valley City causing severe damage to the vehicle. No life threatening injuries.

On Sunday, April 14th shortly after 6am a vehicle rolled east of Valley City near mile marker 301. Magnuson said four people in the vehicle were transported to Mercy Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

In all three of these crashes icy road conditions may have been the contributing factor for the drivers who lost control of their vehicles.
