VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – There are a few new leaders in the Valley City Fire Department and they were announced during a city commission meeting on April 2nd.
Earlier this year the city commission approved of the appointment of Scott Magnuson as the new Fire Chief.
On April 2nd, long-time firefighter Lance Coit was sworn in by mayor Dave Carlsrud as the assistant Fire Chief.
Jeff Schlittenhardt was promoted to Captain and five firefighters became Lieutenants including Mike Wadeson, Matt Miller, Matt Jenrich, Duane Magnuson and Jason Runge who also serves as a police officer with the Valley City Police Department.
Gary Peterson was named the Secretary Treasurer and Dave Montecullo is the Chaplin of the Valley City Fire Department.
