fish-fry

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown El Zagal Mystics have held their annual fish fry to raise money for Shriners Children’s Hospitals for 37 years.

The fish fry returns Friday, March 29th for the 38th year. Member Craig Mehlhaff says when the Mystics were first formed, they had the idea for the fish fry. They now use the event as a major fundraiser to continue their mission.

Jon Beyer is also a member of the El Zagal Mystics and has brought his culinary expertise to the fish fry.

Beyer says the Mystics specialize in funding to get individuals to the Children’s Hospital.

Mehlhaff says they also host a screening clinic in Bismarck to help alleviate costs.

The fish fry will be held at the Shady’s Banquet Room from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for 6-12 years, and 6 and under are free.

You can find tickets at Shady’s, Sabir’s Buffalo Grill, Jonny B’s Brickhouse, or any El Zagal Mystic member. They will also be available at the door.
