VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Barnes County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a registered sex offender is living at 12149 25th St SE, Valley City, ND.
Austin Lee Fields has been assigned high-risk level by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee. Fields is required to register for his lifetime.
Fields was convicted in Clay Co. MN Juvenile Court of Criminal Sexual Conduct-3rd Degree in 2009. Fields fondled the 12-year-old female victim. In 2013 in Barnes County District Court, Fields was convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition. Fields had sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old female while she was intoxicated.
Fields is not wanted by law enforcement at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. Any use of this information to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender will result in prosecution.
