JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Rachel Schiele and Haley Nelson took home individual state championships at the state gymnastics meet in Jamestown on Saturday.
Schiele took home the title on the uneven bars after entering the state finals ranked seventh. It’s her second state title after winning on the beam in 2017.
Nelson was the WDA champion on the bars and floor, but took home her title on the balance beam. It was her first state championship.
Jamestown finished 3rd as a team on Friday during the team portion, finishing just fractions of a point out of second place. Dickinson won their fourth consecutive title.
