CITY (NewsDakota.com)–The new turf project is moving quickly at Valley City State University.
Much of the turf has been laid, and markings are being added to the field as well.

The nearly $1.2 million project adds turf, replaces scoreboards, and updates many components of the stadium at VCSU.
The stadium was renamed “Lokken Stadium” and the field will be named “Shelly Ellig Field” in honor of Shelly Ellig, who donated $350,000 to the project.
