(NewsDakota.com) – A round of severe storms hit the region Tuesday night, bringing strong winds, hail and heavy rain to south central and southeastern North Dakota.

Severe thunderstorm warnings and tornado watches and warnings were issued for multiple counties in the area. Reports had hail up to golf ball size near Windsor, N.D., which is about 15 miles west of Jamestown.

The Jamestown area was hit by pea-size hail in some sections of town. The Jamestown Airport reported about 35-hundreths of an inch of rain.

The National Weather Service says there is a chance for isolated thunderstorms on Thursday, and a possibility of severe thunderstorms this weekend.
