(NewsDakota.com) The opening round game of the Region I baseball tournament between LaMoure-Litchville/Marion and Northern Cass on Monday in Kindred featured a little bit of everything. In the end, the Jaguars won on an RBI single in the bottom of the 11th for a 11-10 victory.

The Loboes went out to a 2-0 start, but it was quickly answered by Northern Cass’ three runs in the bottom of the inning. LLM would take the lead back with a four spot in the second, and hold the lead all the way through the bottom of the seventh when LLM failed to capitalize on a throw from short to first which would end the game; allowing the Jags to tie the game.

LLM committed a season high seven errors and stranded 10 men on base, and ends the season with four straight losses to Region I opponents. The Jaguars lost their game to Kindred/Richland, and the 2012 Region I Baseball Championship series will feature the Vikings and Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page starting Tuesday.
