(NewsDakota.com) – The Taste of Home Cooking School is bringing its well-renowned show to Jamestown on Thursday, May 24.

Chicago-based culinary specialist Guy Klinzing will entertain and teach attendees how to cook 10 different recipes, including Emeril’s New Orleans Garlic Chicken and Mexican Shrimp Bisque. Klinzing is more than just a cook, but also an entertainer says event organizer Lynn Lambrecht.


Klinzing will also give away the 10 dishes he makes on stage following the show, and will also be giving away prizes during the cooking show.

About 20 different vendor booths will be set up for the public starting at 3 p.m. at the Reiland Fine Arts Center on the campus of Jamestown College. The cooking show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 in advance or $10 at the door. Attendees will also receive a goody bag filled with recipe books, coupons and items from the show’s national sponsors.

Local sponsors of the show include Ingstad Family Media, Infinity Building Services, Lifestyle Appliance Center, Hugo’s Family Marketplace and Top Designers Salon & Spa.

Advance tickets are available at Lifestyle Appliance, Hugo’s Family Marketplace, and Ingstad Family Media offices in Jamestown, Valley City, Oakes and Carrington.
