(NewsDakota.com) – Coborn’s grocery store in Jamestown is now open.
The new store at Park Plaza Mall held its grand opening celebration Wednesday morning, ending a four-month renovation process of the space that used to hold County Market.
Coborn’s is a Minnesota-based, employee-owned company that started business in 1921. Company CEO Chris Coborn said Wednesday morning that Jamestown is a vibrant community and a thriving business community. He said Coborn’s is committed to doing its job every day to earn business from the community.

This is the first Coborn’s store in North Dakota. The store will be open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to midnight.
Since County Market closed late last year, Hugo’s Family Marketplace had been the only large traditional grocery store in Jamestown, although Walmart also features a full grocery store.
