VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- As the 2018-19 high school wrestling season enters the home stretch, Valley City will get one last chance to compete at home. Thursday night The Hi-Liners will wrestle Fargo South at The HAC.
In their last home outing, they were beat by West Fargo 53-21. Since then they’ve bounced back with a win at Devils Lake 39-36 and an a 6th place finish at The Storhaug Invite. Coach Aaron Larson said the loss to The Packers served as a learning experience
Fargo South has just one win to their credit this season, a 36-24 victory over Grand Forks Red River back on December 13th. They are 1-11 and 1-6 in The EDC.
Wins and losses aside, the goal right now is to get ready for the regional tourney and state, Thursday night they will need to be ready to wrestle their best
Before the dual the program’s 4 seniors, David Peterson, Jaden Oestern, Cade Powers and Nic Pfeifer will be honored.
