JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Four boys basketball games took place at Harold Newman Arena on the campus of the University of Jamestown on Saturday including the Beulah Miners against the Carrington Cardinals. The Miners led 30-14 at halftime and ended up winning the game by 13 points over Carrington 49-36. The Cardinals drop to 2-3 overall, Beulah improves to 3-2 overall.

Leading all scorers was Senior Chad Morsette Jr. with 17 points, including two 3-pointers, Freshman Trey Brandt added 15 points including three 3-pointers. The Cardinals were paced by Senior Drew Page with 15 points, three 3-pointers. Junior Seth Nelson did not score in the first half, but ended with 10.
