JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce is encouraging residents to shop local before buying online or out of town.
One way they’re doing this is through “chamber bucks.” Chamber Executive Director Emily Bivens says this promotion keeps dollars local.
Bivens says individuals can use the chamber dollars to either buy locally themselves or give them as gifts.
Bivens also reminds listeners that they are looking for nominations for Outstanding Citizen of the Year, Above and Beyond Award, and the Young Professional of the Year Award.
You can fill out a nomination at the Chamber offices. The winners will be announced along with Business of the Year and more at the annual Chamber Banquet January 24th, 2019.
