EDGELEY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – In an amazing act of kindness, Gene and Darlene Hanson of Edgeley donated their snow plow to a family in need.

For the past two winters, the Hanson’s have loaned their snow plow to neighbors Greg and Beth Schmidt. Because of their daughter’s medical needs, the Hanson’s loaned the plow to be sure they would have a way to get out if their daughter needed emergency attention.

“Greg and Beth Schmidt were more concerned that the nurses who help provide around-the-clock care for their daughter might get stuck on their way to the rural home,” The Edgeley Mail reports.

Greg had been on the lookout to purchase his own plow when the Hanson’s made the gesture to give the Schmidt’s the plow. Gene and Darlene gave the title for the snow plow to the Schmidt’s on Monday.
