JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 18 shops in Jamestown will be offering special deals and more on Saturday, November 17th as part of the 5th annual Shop Jamestown event.
The day features local businesses that offer unique items as a way for residents to discover what they have to offer. Organizers Denise Hallwachs and Chantel Harr took over the event four years ago to continue the shop local idea behind the event.
Harr is a co-owner of Junk in the Trunk, a Jamestown business that features repurposed items by local artisans and artists. She says all shops participating in the day feature unique items like that.
Harr says a map will be available at each of the 18 shops participating that will display where each business is. Participants can also register to win prizes and enter to win a grand prize during the day.
The annual i3G Media Women’s Expo will also be Saturday, November 17th from 10 AM to 4 PM. Lynn Lambrecht says they’re hoping Shop Jamestown and the Women’s Expo will be a lot of people downtown.
All shop’s will have different operating hours and specials.
