VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Farmers and ranchers are encouraged to attend the first annual Pitch Fork and Hoe Gathering on Friday and Saturday in the Valley City Eagles Club.

Event coordinator Rod Fernow said the agricultural focused event will have educational seminars, sheep and goat workshops, nutritional and organic crop advice.

The Pitch Fork and Hoe Gathering Trade Show will be held from 9am to 5pm Friday and Saturday in the Valley City Eagles Club. A pancake and sausage breakfast will be served daily from 7:30am to 9:30am

The 2018 Pro Cowboy Artist of the Year Greg Hager and others will provide the musical entertainment on Saturday. The event is free and open to the public.
