(AP) – A 31-year-old Fargo woman is facing a felony reckless endangerment charge after police say she broke out the window of a car with a 3-year-old inside during a dispute with a former boyfriend. Authorities say Tiffany Downing thought her ex was having an affair with a friend. That’s when she became upset and used a crowbar to smash the car’s rear window.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) – A Fort Totten couple were each sentenced to two years on probation and will have to pay more than $6,000 in restitution after they each pleaded guilty to stealing from a tribal organization. Investigators say the two shared a home in Fort Totten on the Spirit Lake Indian Reservation and illegally obtained financial assistance from federal programs.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – Fred Wooten is becoming Bismarck’s interim police chief. The 28-year department veteran was appointed to the post by the Bismarck City Commission. He’s been deputy police chief since 2007.
