JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is reporting that Levi Shawn Guthmiller has been taken into custody in Fargo.
Major Justin Blinsky says Guthmiller, who is wanted on numerous warrants, was taken into custody. According to the Cass County Jail, Guthmiller was taken in on Failure to Appear, Methamphetamine possession with the intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
“The Jamestown Police Department would like to thank all the Law Enforcement Agencies who assisted us in trying to locate and apprehend Guthmiller,” Major Blinsky stated. “We would also like to thank the citizens who assisted us in provided information related to this case.”
Guthmiller was involved in a September pursuit with area law enforcement and escaped. On October 11th, an officer attempted to stop Guthmiller when he was spotted in Jamestown. Guthmiller struck the police vehicle and fled police, eluding them. Police alerted the public that Guthmiller may have been armed and issued a CodeRED alert.
