JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Kidder County Wolves football team will open their postseason run at home on Saturday battling the Hankinson Pirates. The Wolves enter the playoffs having won their last two games of the season and are hoping to set up a rematch with New Rockford/Sheyenne who edged them from the second season a year ago.

“Our mantra is one week at a time,” said head coach Jack Biesterfeld. “We’re not worried about anything other than Hankinson this week.”

A win in the opening round would send the Wolves to New Rockford next week. If they are going to make a deep run, its going to be there talented backfield of Isaiah Harter and Parker Hager leading the way. Both have rushed for over 750 yards on the season.

Kick-off Saturday from Steele is slated for 2pm.
