VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The second meeting of the season yielded the same result as the first with West Fargo Sheyenne defeating Valley City in 4 sets with the score 21-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-20.

Three Hi-Liners surpassed 20 digs, Grace Scherr and Cali Halgrimson had 23 each while Macy Olstad had 22. Olstad also had a team high 19 kills and 2 aces. Halgrimson added 11 kills. Taryn Dieterle collected 7 kills and 8 blocks.

Natalie Lemnus led the team with 24 assist. Josie Berntson had 23 assist, 6 kills and 6 blocks.

West Fargo Sheyenne improves to 12-2 in the region and pulls within .5 a game of first place. Valley City is 9-4 and remains in 4th. The Hi-Liners will get a break from EDC play this weekend when they play in The Fargo Invite Friday and Saturday.
