VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Police Department is up to a full force after hiring a new police officer on September 18th.
Alyson Moses was sworn in as a police officer this week. At the age of 20, she’s the youngest police officer ever sworn in since the city was incorporated.
Valley City Police Chief Phil Hatcher. He said with the hiring of Moses, the police department is fully staffed with 14 licensed peace officers.
On September 4th Travis Johnson was sworn in as a police officer. Johnson also serves as a Lt. in the North Dakota National Guard.
