CITY (NewsDakota.com) The Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals presented Fire Chief Gary Retterath and the Valley City Fire Department a set of animal oxygen masks and CPR instructions at Monday’s City Commission meeting.

The set of masks are used to administer oxygen to animals who have been injured in fires or accidents. The set includes three different sizes of masks, tubing, an instructional DVD and animal CPR training materials.

The oxygen masks join other animal related contributions to Valley City by the Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals since beginning in 2007.
